India has entered into an agreement with Zambia to promote trade alliance between the cooperatives of both the countries, said Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two countries was signed on July 18 this year, said Shah, which will boost facilities for trade alliances between cooperatives of both.

In a written reply to the Lok Sabha, Shah also said the Ministry of Cooperation is working to strengthen India's cooperative export ecosystem through Indian missions abroad, provide market information to the National Cooperative Exports Ltd (NCEL) and connect with importers from specific countries.
NCEL has also signed MoUs) with Senegal and Indonesia-based entities Sinton Vantage Trading and PT Sinton Surini Nusantara, he said.
