Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his classic rallying cry style, declared on Tuesday that global investors are practically salivating over the prospect of doing business in India.

Modi urged the domestic industry to grab this "golden chance" and contribute to the ambitious goal of achieving a Viksit Bharat by 2047.

Speaking at a CII post-Budget conference themed 'Journey Towards Viksit Bharat', Modi boasted that his government is brimming with political will, ready to make all decisions with a 'nation first' mindset.

India, growing at a robust 8 percent, is on the fast track to becoming the world's third-largest economy, up from its current fifth position, Modi proclaimed with his usual confidence. He is certain this milestone will be reached during his current third term in office.

Modi reminisced about the various budgetary measures aimed at boosting the MSME sector, which is responsible for creating millions of jobs.

"Today, the entire world has its eyes on India and you," Modi proclaimed. "The government's policies, commitment, and investment are laying the foundation for global development. Investors worldwide are eager to come to India, and world leaders are brimming with positivity about us. This is a golden opportunity for the Indian industry—don't let it slip through your fingers."

He challenged the domestic industry to compete with the government in transforming India into a developed nation by 2047, and to make strides in emerging sectors.

"The government's intent and commitment are crystal clear," Modi said. "Be it 'nation first', a $5 trillion economy, Aatmanirbhar Bharat, or Viksit Bharat—we are laser-focused and fully committed."
