CII suggests the new government can initiate reforms to capitalise on global opportunities and strengthen India's economic fundamentals.


Industry and trade leaders have voiced optimism as a new government assumes office, foreseeing a revitalized ecosystem across sectors with a commitment to policy continuity.

 

The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham) expressed confidence that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership will propel the country to greater economic heights, maintaining its position as one of the world's fastest-growing major economies.

 

Sanjay Nayar, President of Assocham, highlighted PM Modi's vision to bolster India's resolve to ascend as the world's third-largest economy.

 

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) anticipates the new government to initiate further reforms, leveraging global opportunities while building upon India's robust economic fundamentals.

 

"This is a critical juncture for the nation," remarked Sanjiv Puri, CII President, emphasizing industry's eagerness to collaborate with the government to expedite India's development trajectory.

 

Anish Shah, President of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), underlined the significance of policy continuity under the NDA's third consecutive term, envisaging a stable economic landscape conducive to achieving India's global economic ranking ambitions.

 

With expectations high for the upcoming budget to outline policy directions, industry leaders remain optimistic about the trajectory of India's economic growth under the new administration.
