The update follows the company's recent Q1 FY 2027 financial performance announcement for the quarter ending June 2026, which recorded its highest-ever quarterly EBITDA.

One97 Communications Limited, the parent company of Indian digital payments giant Paytm, has confirmed that its app and UPI services are fully operational. The company assured users that they can continue to transfer funds, scan QR codes for payments, recharge mobiles, and settle utility bills through the platform without disruption.

A spokesperson for the firm reiterated that all core features remain accessible, emphasising Paytm's commitment to delivering a secure and reliable digital transaction experience.

The update follows the company's recent Q1 FY 2027 financial performance announcement for the quarter ending June 2026, which recorded its highest-ever quarterly EBITDA. Driven by expansion in both consumer and merchant segments alongside AI-driven operational efficiencies, Paytm reported a 28 per cent year-on-year rise in operating revenue to ₹2,448 crore. EBITDA for the quarter reached ₹203 crore—a 182 per cent increase compared to the same period last year—with profit after tax rising 79 per cent to ₹220 crore.

On a comparable basis, excluding the Payments Infrastructure Development Fund (PIDF) incentive that concluded in December 2025, operating revenue rose by 31 per cent year-on-year. Company executives highlighted that revenue momentum, coupled with expanding profit margins and AI integrations, positions the firm for sustained long-term profitability within India's growing digital finance sector.
