In a powerful election rally held in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, Home Minister Amit Shah rallied the voters to secure an unprecedented victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) by winning all 80 Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming elections.

Shah highlighted the pivotal role Uttar Pradesh has played in the BJP's historic wins in the 2014 and 2019 elections, where the state contributed 73 and 65 seats, respectively. This performance, he noted, was crucial in securing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's terms in office.

Shah passionately recalled the previous election triumphs and set an ambitious goal for the 2024 polls, aiming for a perfect score in Uttar Pradesh to reinstate Modi with a commanding majority for a third term.

"This time, not 73, not 65, all 80 seats will go to Modi's basket," he proclaimed, emphasising the strategic importance of the state in national politics. The Home Minister also appealed to the voters' sense of duty and pride, particularly highlighting the significance of the first phase of voting in western Uttar Pradesh. He drew on local sayings to inspire the electorate, stressing that their actions would set a precedent for the rest of the state. "

As it's said in our Gujarat, a child’s future can be seen in the baby swing, so as the first election is going to be held in western UP, what you do will be followed by the rest of the UP," Shah remarked, urging everyone to vote for the BJP symbol, the Lotus.

During his speech, Shah didn't miss the opportunity to outline the Modi government's achievements over the past decade, particularly in economic growth.

He claimed that under Modi's leadership, India's economy had risen from the 11th to the 5th largest globally. With confidence, Shah promised that a third Modi term would propel India to the third largest economy worldwide, presenting this as a "Modi guarantee."

The stakes are high as the Lok Sabha elections are set to commence on April 19, with Moradabad being one of the key constituencies in the fray during the first phase.

As the country gears up for these critical elections, Shah’s rallying cry seeks to not only motivate the BJP's base but also to cement Modi's leadership role on the global stage. The final outcomes, awaited eagerly on June 4, will determine whether Shah’s calls resonated deeply enough with the voters of Uttar Pradesh.
