Former Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam's recent expulsion from the party has ignited a flurry of controversy and introspection within the political circles. He outlined these factions as follows: Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Mallikarjun Kharge, and Congress General Secretary Organisation KC Venugopal.
Nirupam argued that each of these centres of power operates with its own caucus and lobby, leading to internal conflicts and a lack of cohesion within the party.
The former Rajya Sabha MP expressed his disillusionment with the Congress party, stating that it has deviated from its core principles and lost sight of its ideological moorings.
He lamented the marginalisation of meritorious leaders within the party, attributing it to the dominance of the aforementioned power centres.
