A year after ending her first marriage through a public post on Instagram, Dubai princess Sheikha Mahra Mohammed Rashed Al Maktoum, is engaged to Moroccan-American rapper French Montana. Mahra is the daughter of Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The "Unforgettable" rapper, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, popped the question to Mahra during Paris Fashion Week in June, shortly after he walked the runway for the first time for the 3.Paradis Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2026 show.
According to reports, French, 40, and Mahra, 31, were first linked in October 2024, when the latter shared several photographs of her giving the rapper a tour of the United Arab Emirates city. However, the couple didn't go public with their romance until this summer, when they stepped out at several Paris Fashion Week events holding hands.
Mahra was previously married to Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum. She announced their separation in July 2024 through a scathing post on Instagram. Mahra shares a 15-month-old daughter whose name has not been revealed publicly with Sheikh Mana.

“Dear Husband,” she wrote. “As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, I Divorce You.” She added, "Take care. Your ex-wife."
Montana was married to entrepreneur and designer Nadeen Kharbouch from 2007 to 2014, with whom he shares a 16-year-old son, Kruz Kharbouch.
The rapper—who was previously linked to Khloe Kardashian, Iggy Azalea and Rubi Rose—earlier provided insight into how he feels about dating someone who is working through a divorce.
"It's real emotional, it's a sensitive space for them. It's real s--t. But sometimes you have to sacrifice for what you want," he said in an interaction in 2016.
