After Coldplay announced another concert in Ahmedabad as part of their highly anticipated “Music Of The Spheres World Tour 2025,” fans rushed to secure tickets and book hotels for the British band's "biggest ever show" at the Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25.
However, some fans are now facing a challenge with skyrocketing hotel prices in Ahmedabad. Reports indicate that room rates have surged to as much as Rs 90,000 per night for the concert date.
One X user, Aviral Bhatnagar, highlighted the issue by posting, "Hotel rooms in ITC Narmada Ahmedabad are selling for 90,000 per night on the 25th.
If you manage to get Coldplay tickets, you also need to spend 6 months of an Indian middle-class person's income to simply visit the city. Coldplay plays, city's hotels party."
The price surge isn't limited to high-end hotels. According to reports, even budget and three-star hotels near the Narendra Modi Stadium have raised their rates significantly for the concert weekend—surpassing even the typical New Year prices.
Due to these inflated hotel prices, many fans are now exploring alternatives outside Ahmedabad. Nearby cities like Vadodara have become popular choices for more affordable accommodation during the Coldplay concert.
