Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged on Thursday morning.

 

The news was shared by Chaitanya's father, Telugu superstar Nagarjuna, on his official X page.

 

Nagarjuna expressed his delight in welcoming Sobhita to the family.

 

"We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!!
We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family.
Congratulations to the happy couple!

 "We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family.

 

"Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless! 8.8.8. A beginning of infinite love," he wrote alongside a series of pictures of the engaged couple.

 

Chaitanya, aged 37, and Sobhita, aged 32, had been rumoured to be in a relationship since 2022 following their sighting on a vacation in Europe.

 

Rumours about the couple's engagement have been circulating on social media since this morning.

 

Prior to this, Chaitanya was married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu from 2017 to 2021.

 

Chaitanya and Sobhita have not co-starred in any movies. His most recent appearance was in the "Dootha" series, while her latest film was "Monkey Man".
