Nitesh Tiwari’s mythological film Ramayana, which reportedly features Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi, and more, is currently the talk of the town. Amid leaked footage and production updates, it appears that the makers are in talks with Oscar winners Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman.
According to reports on a leading news portal, composer Hans Zimmer, renowned for his outstanding work in the Dark Knight Trilogy, Interstellar, and The Lion King, will soon make his Bollywood debut with Ranbir Kapoor starrer Ramayana.
Reports also suggest that Hans Zimmer is impressed with the scale of the project. Zimmer will collaborate with music maestro AR Rahman for the Nitesh Tiwari directorial.

Apart from Ranbir, who is set to portray Lord Ram, Sai as Sita, and Yash as Ravana, Ramayana reportedly features Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Arun Govil as Dashrath.
The first part of the Ramayana trilogy is currently in production and is being touted as the most expensive film in Indian cinema. Ranbir, Sai, Sunny, and Yash are expected to commence shooting for their respective roles soon. The film is likely to be released around Diwali 2025. Recently, videos from the film's set surfaced online.
Ranbir is prepared to undertake the role of a lifetime and has been dedicating hours to reading dialogues and sending videos to Tiwari. Sources also added that the film's production is on an enormous scale, with VFX and special effects expected to be of international standards.
