Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra and her politician husband Raghav Chadha on Monday announced that they are expecting their first child.
Taking to Instagram, the couple shared a picture of a cake, which read "1+1=3" accompanied with baby feet. The caption to their post read, "Our little universe...on its way. Blessed beyond measure." They also shared a video in which they were walking hand in hand amidst nature.
Parineeti and Raghav got married in 2023 in a grand ceremony in Udaipur.
Chopra was last seen in the 2024 Imtiaz Ali film "Amar Singh Chamkila" alongside Diljit Dosanjh. She is currently working on an upcoming Netflix show opposite Tahir Raj Bhasin directed by Renzil D'Silva.
Chadha is a Rajya Sabha MP from Aam Admi Party.
Meanwhile, many celebrities, including Parineeti’s cousin, actress and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Neha Dhupia and others flooded the couple’s Instagram post with congratulatory messages.

“Congratulations (red heart emoji),” wrote Priyanka while Katrina commented with three red heart emojis.
Designer Masaba Gupta wrote, “Welcome to the party! (red heart emoji) congratulations.”
Neha Dhupia left a similar message, writing, “Congratulations…welcome to the best hood (red heart emojis).”
Anupam Kher, Bhumi Pednekar, Tina Datta, Nimrat Kaur, and others also left congratulatory messages under the post.
