Mumbai’s Bandra Police have submitted a 1000-page chargesheet in the case involving an attack on actor Saif Ali Khan.
The chargesheet includes forensic reports, fingerprint evidence, and other key findings against the accused, Shariful Islam.
Police confirmed that the knife pieces recovered from the scene, the actor’s body, and the suspect all came from the same weapon. The accused's left-hand fingerprint was also matched during the probe.

The incident took place on 16 January when the accused, allegedly attempting a robbery, broke into Khan’s Bandra home. The actor sustained serious injuries, including damage to his thoracic spine.
He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital and discharged after five days. Police investigations revealed the attacker had entered India from Bangladesh and stayed in Kolkata before travelling to Mumbai.
