Beyond her success on the silver screen, Samantha Ruth Prabhu continues to make waves as an entrepreneur. She has much to celebrate, with two of her investments—Nourish You and Urban Kissan—receiving significant funding boosts. Her association with a brand not only enhances its credibility but also instills confidence in investors, making them more inclined to support the business.
Having been someone who’s followed her instinct and chosen to align with brands that stand true to her own belief system, Samantha proves to be breaking ground everywhere she goes. The new round of funding comes as a huge boost to these brands that have deservedly showcased their own potential and earned themselves the support.

Nourish You has raised ₹16 crore (approximately $1.8 million) in its Series A funding round, led by SIDBI Venture Capital. The start-up announced that the capital will be used to scale operations, enhance customer retentions and drive market expansion. Nourish You also plans to diversify its product offerings in the super-foods and protein categories, and strengthen its presence in international markets, including Australia, Europe, and the US.
Founded in 2015 by Krishna Reddy, Rakesh Kilaru and Sowmya Reddy, Nourish You offers nutrient-rich breakfast food products and snacks, available through its website, e-commerce marketplaces and quick commerce platforms. UrbanKissan, a brand that’s revolutionised organic farming, has earned its rightful place in the top 20 Agriculture start-ups funded by Y Combinator.
Founded by Sairam Reddy, Srinivas Chaganti and Vihari Kanukollu in 2017, Urban Kisaan builds local farms globally, while using just a fraction of the water and land compared to conventional farms and grow the most nutritious plants. They are leading the next great revolution in farming.
