‘Pardesiya’, the first song of Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra’s ‘Param Sundari’, has been winning hearts since its release on Wednesday with fans showering loads of love on it. And, looks like Janhvi’s beau Shikhar Pahariya is going gaga over it as well.
Tagging the actress as “best girl", Pahariya gushed over the musical showcase of ‘Param Sundari’ and called the soulful romantic track his favourite.
Pahariya also shared the song video on his Instagram stories and wrote, “Best song and best girl". Janhvi, too, reshared the reaction.
The video opens with a cute, romantic conversation between Janhvi and Sidharth in the backdrop of a beautiful Kerala tea plantation. Fans have been dropping heart emojis on the song, terming it ‘superhit’.

Earlier on Wednesday, the film’s makers announced new release date with an announcement poster. “The biggest love story of the year, Param Sundari, from the house of Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films, directed by Tushar Jalota, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, releases August 29. And in just one hour, feel every beat and every emotion of the love story with Pardesiya, the love anthem of 2025," read the caption.
The film was initially set to release across theatres on July 25. While the teaser was the same as the one released in May, it featured an updated slate, swapping out “This July" for “This August." The original teaser ended with “In cinemas, July 25," but the new version now reads: “In cinemas worldwide this August."
‘Param Sundari’ is directed by Tushar Jalota, known for his incredible work in ‘Dasvi’. The upcoming romantic drama is a cross-cultural love story between a North Indian boy and a South Indian girl.
