Unveiling the poster of the upcoming cross-cultural romantic comedy “Param Sundari”, the makers on Wednesday announced that the movie will hit the big screen on August 29.
Featuring Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra in lead roles, the film is directed by Tushar Jalota and is backed by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Films banner.
The film was initially set to release across theatres on July 25 but was postponed to avoid overlapping with the buzz around ‘Saiyaara’.

Set against the vibrant cultural backdrop of Kerala, ‘Param Sundari’ follows the story of Param, a North Indian man, and Sundari, a South Indian woman, as their differences lead to a playful and heart-warming romance.
Along with the announcement, the film’s makers also unveiled the first song, ‘Pardesiya’, a soulful track sung by Sonu Nigam and Krishnakali Saha, with music composed by Sachin–Jigar.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi is currently busy filming ‘Peddi’ with Ram Charan, her next Hindi film.
