The filming for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, the fourth instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man saga, is officially underway.
Tom Holland, who plays the role of Peter Parker in the film, shared the news by uploading a video post on his Instagram handle.
The post featured the 29-year-old actor in the costume of Spider-Man walking towards the camera. "Are you ready? - 7.31.2026," he wrote in the caption.
Slated to release in theatres on July 31, 2026, the film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and stars Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, and Liza Colon-Zayas, among others.
The film is already creating a buzz among Marvel fans amid a series of exciting teases and photo leaks from the sets.

Besides "Spider-Man: Brand New Day", Holland is also gearing up for the release of Christopher Nolan's upcoming film "The Odyssey".
Based on the ancient Greek epic poem "Odyssey" by Homer, the film boasts of a star-studded cast comprising Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, Zendaya, Matt Damon, Robert Pattinson, and Lupita Nyong'o.
The film is set to hit the big screens on July 17, 2026.
Homer's "Odyssey" follows Odysseus, who spends years travelling back home from the Trojan War while battling mythical creatures and faces the wrath of the gods on his journey.
