Sara Ali Khan became emotional during a visit to Darbar Sahib, also known as the Golden Temple, in Amritsar with her Udta Teer co-star Ayushmann Khurrana. A video showing the actor crying while offering prayers has circulated widely on social media, prompting concern among internet users.
The actors visited the shrine to seek blessings on the occasion of Dussehra ahead of the release of their upcoming film. In several videos from the visit, Sara and Ayushmann can be seen praying at the temple, while Sara appears visibly overwhelmed and unable to hold back her tears.
On Tuesday, Sara shared a photograph from the visit on Instagram. The two actors were dressed in matching white ethnic outfits and posed in front of the Golden Temple with their hands folded in prayer.
Sharing the picture with her followers, Sara wrote, “Happy Dussehra Wishing everyone love, luck and laughter.”

Following the circulation of the emotional video, social media users expressed concern and wondered about the reason behind Sara’s reaction. One user wrote that the actor had become emotional during the promotion of the film and hoped that everything was fine with her. Other comments described the moment as an emotional experience during prayer and asked why she appeared so distressed.
Sara Ali Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana have been travelling to different locations across Punjab as part of the promotional activities for Udta Teer.
