Shining in the colors of the Indian flag, the iconic Burj Khalifa illuminated the Dubai skyline as Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in discussions with the UAE President during India's spotlight moment as the guest of honor at the esteemed World Governments Summit.

During his visit on Tuesday, Prime Minister Modi engaged in comprehensive discussions with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, culminating in the signing of 10 agreements spanning vital sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and investments.

As a symbol of warm hospitality and diplomatic ties, Burj Khalifa radiated with the message "Guest of Honour – Republic of India" in anticipation of Prime Minister Modi's keynote address at the 2024 World Governments Summit scheduled on Wednesday.

Expressing a heartfelt welcome to Modi, Dubai's Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum shared two images on social media showcasing the illuminated Burj Khalifa adorned with the Indian flag colors and the logo of the World Governments Summit.

In a statement, Sheikh Hamdan underscored the strong bonds between India and the UAE, lauding them as exemplars of international collaboration and cooperation.

He highlighted India's distinguished presence at the World Governments Summit, where it would spotlight its innovative initiatives and projects across various sectors, serving as a catalyst for accelerated development in government service delivery.

Under the theme "Shaping Future Governments," the World Governments Summit serves as a pivotal platform for governments, international organizations, thought leaders, and private sector leaders worldwide to engage in dialogues on governance best practices, success stories, and future-oriented initiatives.

Standing tall at over 828 meters (2,716.5 feet) with more than 160 stories, Burj Khalifa holds the distinction of being the tallest building globally.

It boasts the highest outdoor observation deck and the elevator with the longest travel distance, cementing its status as an architectural marvel and a beacon of innovation.
