FIFA President Gianni Infantino has presented United States President Donald Trump with the first ticket to the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, scheduled to be held in New Jersey on July 19, 2026.
Trump received Ticket No. 45/47, Row 1, Seat 1, during a meeting with Infantino at the White House.
Sharing the moment on Instagram, Infantino wrote that with tickets for all 104 matches going on sale from 10 September 2025, it was “a pleasure” to hand over the first ticket to Trump.
“We look forward to hosting @realdonaldtrump at the showpiece final on Sunday, 19 July 2026 in New York New Jersey, along with the millions of fans who will unite to celebrate our beautiful game across all the host cities in the United States, as well as in Canada and Mexico,” Infantino posted.

The 2026 World Cup will be the first tournament staged across three nations — the United States, Canada and Mexico — and the first to feature 48 teams. It will be played from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
Sixteen venues have already been chosen to host matches, with 11 in the US, three in Mexico and two in Canada. The US host cities are New York/New Jersey (MetLife Stadium), Los Angeles (SoFi Stadium), Dallas (AT&T Stadium), San Francisco Bay Area (Levi’s Stadium), Miami (Hard Rock Stadium), Atlanta (Mercedes-Benz Stadium), Seattle (Lumen Field), Houston (NRG Stadium), Philadelphia (Lincoln Financial Field), Kansas City, Missouri (Arrowhead Stadium), and Boston (Gillette Stadium).
