Jeffrey Epstein’s partner Ghislaine Maxwell has claimed that there is no client list and reports of him blackmailing the powerful and elite billionaires are false.
The US Department of Justice (DOJ) released audio and a transcript of Maxwell’s interview with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.
Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for sexually exploiting teenage girls with her partner, was transferred to a maximum-security prison in Texas last month.
When asked about the alleged black book or client list, Maxwell told Blanche, “There is no such list that I am aware of.”
According to the latest testimony, the claims originated in 2009 when Brad Edwards, a lawyer representing several of Epstein’s victims, said he maintained a list of influential people for blackmail purposes.

Maxwell further said, “I’m not aware of any blackmail. I never heard that. I never saw it and I never imagined it.”
She not only denied the existence of the list but also rejected suggestions that President Donald Trump engaged in any improper conduct during his friendship with Epstein. “I never witnessed the president in any inappropriate setting in any way,” she said.
The former US president has said he cut ties with Epstein long before his 2008 conviction and was unaware of the allegations against him.
However, Maxwell also claimed that Epstein did not take his own life, saying, “I do not believe he died by suicide, no.”
She dismissed the idea that an outside party could have ordered a “hit” on Epstein, adding, “If it is indeed murder, I believe it was an internal situation.”
