The Pentagon reaffirmed the strength of the military-to-military relationship between India and the United States on Thursday, just before the crucial meeting between Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.
Singh arrived in Washington earlier in the day for a four-day visit aimed at further solidifying the strategic partnership between the two nations.
Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh spotlighted the depth of military cooperation, stating, “The military-to-military relationships between the US and India are strong.”
She noted that this collaboration has intensified not only from the Department of Defense (DoD) but also from the broader administration perspective.
Singh’s visit follows an earlier trip by Defense Secretary Austin to India, during which several key deliverables were announced, contributing to the ongoing robust engagement between the two countries.
