Iran, on the other hand, has said that it was responding to attacks with retaliatory fire against the US bases in Bahrain, which has become a prime target for Iranian forces in the region.

The United States military has continued bombing Iran's military and oil infrastructure for the 10th straight day, with explosions reported near Sirik and in Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, Chabahar and Konarak.

The latest series of attacks is being carried out after US President Donald Trump reportedly said the peace memorandum was over following an IRGC-led attack on a Cyprus-flagged ship without any justification.

Iran, on the other hand, has said that it was responding to attacks with retaliatory fire against the US bases in Bahrain, which has become a prime target for Iranian forces in the region.

It also confirmed launching attacks on Kuwait while claiming to have set fire to two tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.

US President Donald Trump warned Iran it will pay "many times over" for the deaths of American soldiers after a week in which at least three US personnel were killed.

Besides, the Houthis in Yemen have declared a maritime blockade against Saudi Arabia, threatening to further disrupt the global energy supply.

The UK Maritime Operations (UKMTO) agency confirmed it has received multiple reports that a tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, off the coast of Oman's Limah, has been struck by an unknown projectile.

"The CSO of the tanker has reported to UKMTO that the crew have abandoned the vessel and are currently embarked in a lifeboat," it added.

The US State Department has advised Americans worldwide to exercise increased caution, citing heightened tensions in the Middle East and the risk of further escalation.

"Americans currently living or working in the Middle East have been told to exercise caution and vigilance as they are asked to remain prepared for possible flight cancellations, periodic airspace closures, and potential travel disruptions," it said.

Additionally, the US CENTCOM, responsible for operations in the Middle East, said on Tuesday that the 10th round of strikes on Iran is now complete.

It said in a statement that US forces targeted "Iranian military command centres, maritime capabilities, missile and drone launch sites, and air defence systems" in the latest wave.
