Indian Army’s Panchshul Brigade, SSB, and ITBP partook in a tri-force integrated firing exercise, boosting synergy between the forces and their capabilities to fight in high-altitude terrains. The exercise took place in Himachal Pradesh.
“The mountains echoed with the thunder of artillery guns, coordinated mortar fire, and precise drone-assisted salvos, both by day and night — demonstrating cutting-edge capability and absolute cohesion. This tri-force drill exemplified exceptional operational synergy, all-weather preparedness, and the unyielding spirit of the guardians of the Nation in the most challenging conditions”, said the Central Command, Indian Army, in a post on its’ official X account.
Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), both are part of India's Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).
The Indian Army’s Central Command is located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the seven operational commands of the Indian Army. The command was re-established in Lucknow in 1963.
Following Operation Sindoor, the Indian Armed Forces are leaving no stone unturned in preparing for any potential contingencies. Such tri-service exercises are designed to foster trust, coordination, and synergy among the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
