An attempted infiltration along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district was thwarted by security forces, as announced by the Indian Army on Saturday.

 

According to a post by the army's Srinagar-based Chinar Corps on X, troops identified suspicious activity in Gugaldhar and engaged with the intruders, resulting in a gunfire exchange.

 

The ongoing operation is being conducted by a combined team of J-K Police and the army.
