The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Mumbai's cyber cell has detained Bollywood actor and fitness trainer Sahil Khan from Chhattisgarh in connection with the Mahadev betting app scam case.
Khan was apprehended from Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, on Saturday, following the Bombay High Court's rejection of his pre-arrest bail plea.
The court's decision came after it observed that Sahil Khan was "directly connected with an online betting application." Earlier in the week, the actor had undergone questioning by the SIT for over four hours regarding the case.
