The investigation into the Delhi Red Fort blast has taken a dramatic turn following the mysterious disappearance of Dr. Nisar-ul-Hassan, a former government doctor from Jammu and Kashmir who was dismissed from service over alleged links to anti-national activities.

The Kashmir-based doctor, Dr Nisar-ul-Hassan, who was dismissed by the Jammu and Kashmir government in 2023 for alleged anti-national activities, has gone missing following the November 10 Red Fort car blast in Delhi that killed at least 12 people and injured several others.According to senior police officials, Dr. Hassan — who was currently serving as a senior doctor at Al-Falah University in Haryana — has been missing since the day of the blast. His mobile phone has remained switched off, and there has been no contact or trace of him since Monday evening.

Intelligence sources reveal that Dr. Hassan’s name had previously surfaced in multiple inputs from Srinagar, where his activities were under discreet surveillance prior to his termination from government service. Investigating agencies are now probing whether there is any link between his sudden disappearance and the Delhi car explosion, which claimed ten lives and left more than twenty injured.

Police teams have begun analyzing his recent movements, phone records, and professional interactions at Al-Falah University. Both the NIA and the Delhi Police Special Cell are coordinating efforts to ascertain if Dr. Hassan had any association with the suspected “Doctors’ Module” or other individuals already under scrutiny.Top police sources confirmed that a formal search operation has been launched across Delhi-NCR, Haryana, and Jammu and Kashmir, with special focus on areas where Dr. Hassan was last seen.

Authorities have urged citizens to report any credible information regarding the missing doctor to the nearest police station or helpline.Dr Hassan's disappearance has come under the scanner as investigators trace possible links between a network of doctors and the deadly explosion near the Red Fort Metro Station. The Al-Falah University has issued an official statement, saying it is cooperating fully with law enforcement agencies. Officials at its south Delhi and Okhla offices said no investigative team had visited those premises so far. The varsity is expected to hold a press conference on Thursday to address the ongoing developments, according to staff members at its Okhla office.
