Five schools in Delhi, including BGS International Public School in Dwarka Sector 5, were evacuated on Thursday morning after receiving bomb threats. This marks the third such incident in the city this week, raising alarm among parents and authorities.
Delhi police and the fire department were immediately dispatched to the affected locations to conduct thorough searches. The latest threats follow a series of similar hoaxes earlier in the week. On Monday, more than 30 schools across the national capital received bomb threats, which were later determined to be fake.
The following day, on Wednesday, approximately 50 schools received identical threats via email, all of which were also declared hoaxes after police investigations.
According to a reports, police sources revealed that the email threats sent on Wednesday were from the same group that had sent the threats on Monday, a group calling itself 'Terrorizers 111'. The email, which was sent to schools on Tuesday night, reportedly demanded a ransom of 2,000 dollars in cryptocurrency, adding a new dimension to the ongoing situation. Authorities are continuing to investigate the origin of these threats.
