Officials noted that India and Norway share common interests in sustainability, climate action, ocean economy and emerging technologies.
During his visit, Prime Minister Modi was also conferred with Norway’s prestigious civilian honour, the Grand Cross of the Royal Norwegian Order of Merit, at a special ceremony held in Oslo. The award recognised his efforts in strengthening ties between India and Norway, and promoting global cooperation on key international issues.
