On the 40th Raising Day of the National Security Guard (NSG), Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep appreciation for the dedication and courage shown by NSG personnel in safeguarding the nation.
In a heartfelt message posted on X, the Prime Minister acknowledged the NSG’s unwavering commitment to protecting India against various threats. He praised the NSG members for their admirable valour and professionalism, highlighting their essential role in ensuring national security.
Home Minister Amit Shah also joined in the celebrations by extending warm wishes to the NSG personnel and their families. In his post on X, he emphasised the NSG's motto, “Sarvatra Sarvottam Suraksha,” which translates to “Best Security Everywhere.”
Shah commended the NSG for its expertise in rapid response, tactical operations, and stealth, which have consistently reinforced the country’s security framework. He paid tribute to the brave NSG members who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, highlighting the significant risks these personnel face to protect the nation.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari expressed similar sentiments in his post, emphasising the valour and dedication of NSG soldiers. He acknowledged their relentless efforts in maintaining the safety and security of India.
Gadkari highlighted the importance of honouring their service and commitment to defending the country from all kinds of threats, expressing national pride with a heartfelt “Jai Hind!”

Thakur sent warm wishes to all NSG personnel and their families, recognizing the sacrifices made by those who lost their lives while serving the nation.
