Indian Armed Forces personnel celebrated Diwali at border posts.


Being away from their families, the Indian Armed Forces personnel celebrated the festival of Diwali with their extended families — brother/sisters in arms.
 
The Indian Air Force Chief, Amar Preet Singh, visited Ladakh sector and celebrated Diwali there with the IAF and IA personnel. The chief commended them for their professionalism and the dedication with which they are serving the nation and safeguarding the borders.
The Deputy Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Awadhesh Kumar Bharti was at the Siachen Glacier, celebrating the festival with troops guarding our borders in this sector. Interacting with the personnel of the IAF and Indian Army, Air Marshal lauded their contribution in the recent operations. He also paid a visit to the Thoise nearby Terchey village, interacting with the locals while wishing them on the eve of Diwali.
 
As part of the CISF’s initiative, officers at Hyderabad Airport extended warm Diwali greetings and distributed sweets to personnel on duty.
 
“This gesture not only spread festive cheer but also recognized the dedication and hard work of our personnel, ensuring safety and security during the festive period,” wrote the official X handle of the force.
