Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor on Wednesday targeted Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin during the latter’s visit to Bihar, questioning him over the alleged killing of children from Bihar in the southern state.
“Today, MK Stalin has come to Bihar, in the same Tamil Nadu where children of Bihar were killed. Where was Stalin at that time? Somewhere, this also shows the character of the Congress and Tejashwi Yadav,” Kishor told reporters.
Stalin, who was in Bihar to join his INDIA bloc allies at the ‘Voter Adhikaar Yatra’, launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led Centre, accusing it of undermining democracy by turning the Election Commission into a “puppet”.
Addressing a rally in Muzaffarpur, Stalin said that if polls in Bihar are conducted in a free and fair manner, the NDA will face defeat.
“They (Centre) have made the Election Commission a puppet that is being run by a remote control. Removing the people of Bihar from the voters’ list is not right,” Stalin told the gathering in Tamil, with his speech translated into Hindi.

Stalin stressed that the INDIA bloc parties were united in their fight to “protect democracy”. He also underlined the closeness between Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, describing it as “a relationship between two brothers”.
“This friendship is going to make them victorious. We have united to protect democracy,” he said.
“I have come from Tamil Nadu to support my brothers. Rahul Gandhi has exposed the ‘vote chori’ by the Election Commission. CEC Gyanesh Kumar says that Rahul Gandhi should give an affidavit or apologise. Will Rahul Gandhi ever get scared by all this? Today, the BJP is attacking them because it has shown how the BJP has turned elections into a joke,” Stalin added.
Earlier, Stalin joined Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Tejashwi Yadav, Vikassheel Insaan Party founder Mukesh Sahani, and CPI (ML) leader Dipankar Bhattacharya in an open vehicle, waving to INDIA bloc supporters as the rally passed through the city.
