On the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami and Saraswati Puja, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with several other prominent leaders, conveyed their warm wishes to the people of India. Their messages centred on invoking 'wisdom, prosperity, and well-being for all'.

 

Prime Minister Modi took to X (formerly Twitter), offering his greetings to the nation. He wrote: "Best wishes on the auspicious occasions of Basant Panchami and Saraswati Puja."

Home Minister Amit Shah also joined in, sharing his heartfelt wishes. He said: "Heartiest greetings to all the countrymen on the sacred festival of Basant Panchami. Basant Panchami, also called Vasant Panchami or Saraswati Panchami, is a Hindu festival observed to mark the arrival of spring.

It is dedicated to the worship of Maa Saraswati, the goddess of learning, music, and arts. The festival also signals the beginning of preparations for Holi, which is celebrated 40 days later.
