Prime Minister Narendra Modi was felicitated by the Members of Parliament of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Tuesday for the successful conclusion of 'Operation Sindoor'. The felicitation took place during an NDA parliamentary party meeting held at the Parliament Library Building in New Delhi.

The meeting was marked by 'thunderous applause' and chants of 'Har Har Mahadev,' celebrating the success of both Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev. The gathering included key NDA leaders from both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, such as Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP President JP Nadda, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi, and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut.
This crucial NDA meeting occurred amidst an ongoing parliamentary deadlock. Opposition parties are demanding a debate and the withdrawal of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar, which has been a point of contention. Due to the opposition protests, the Lok Sabha was unable to take up two key pieces of legislation: the National Sports Governance Bill, 2025, and the National Anti-Doping (Amendment) Bill, 2025.
