Modi Seeks Blessings of Advani, Joshi, Ram Nath Kovind Before Third Term Begins.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with senior BJP leaders L.K. Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi on Friday, ahead of his bid to form the government for a third consecutive term.

These meetings took place at the veterans' residences in the capital, highlighting Modi's respect and acknowledgment of their contributions to the party.

Modi's visit to Advani came soon after he was chosen as the leader of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) parliamentary party, the BJP parliamentary party, and the BJP leader in the Lok Sabha. This sequence of leadership appointments underscored his pivotal role in steering the party and the coalition forward.

Following his meeting with Advani, Modi proceeded to the residence of Murli Manohar Joshi, another stalwart of the BJP. These interactions were symbolic, reflecting the continuity and connection between the party's past and its present leadership.

In addition to meeting Advani and Joshi, Modi also called on former President Ram Nath Kovind. This visit further demonstrated his intent to seek the blessings and counsel of senior leaders and former office bearers.

Later in the day, Modi was scheduled to visit Rashtrapati Bhawan to meet President Droupadi Murmu. This meeting was a crucial step in formally staking his claim to form the government, following the NDA's success in the recent elections.

The BJP, under Modi's leadership, secured 240 seats in the Lok Sabha. Alongside its allies in the NDA, the coalition achieved a total of 293 seats, ensuring a comfortable majority in the 543-member lower house of Parliament. This strong showing reaffirmed the electorate's support for Modi's vision and governance.

These developments mark the beginning of Modi's third term as Prime Minister, a significant milestone in India's political landscape. The meetings with Advani and Joshi were not only a gesture of respect but also a strategic move to reinforce party unity and strength.

As Modi prepares to lead the nation once again, the support from senior BJP leaders and the robust majority in the Lok Sabha position him to continue his agenda of development and reform. The interactions with veteran leaders are a reminder of the party's deep roots and the collective effort required to steer the country towards progress.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visits to L.K. Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, and former President Ram Nath Kovind, followed by his scheduled meeting with President Droupadi Murmu, signify a blend of respect for the past and a commitment to future governance.

With a strong mandate from the recent elections, Modi is set to embark on his third term, poised to further his vision for India's growth and development.
