World will listen to your message of peace only if you have power: RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Jaipur on Friday evening to participate in a series of religious and organisational events scheduled over the weekend.

Bhagwat landed at Jaipur Airport around 6:15 PM on an IndiGo flight from New Delhi. Upon arrival, he proceeded to Bharati Bhawan, where he stayed overnight.

On Saturday, the RSS Sarsanghchalak attended a religio-spiritual ceremony at Guru Ravinath Ashram in Harmara on the outskirts of Jaipur. The event was organised to commemorate the death anniversary of Guru Ravinath. Bhagwat was felicitated during the annual ashram event and also addressed Sangh volunteers, monks and saints gathered there.

Later in the day, he was scheduled to attend a private function at the residence of RSS Rajasthan state pracharak, Dr Ramesh Chandra Agrawal. The visit coincides with ongoing training camps for Sangh volunteers across 12 different locations in Rajasthan, and Bhagwat may visit some of these during his stay in the state.

While addressing the gathering at Guru Ravinath Ashram, Bhagwat highlighted India’s growing strength on the global stage. Referring to the country’s recent action against Pakistan, he said that while India remains committed to global peace and welfare, it has also demonstrated its formidable strength.

India does not harbour hatred towards anyone,” he remarked. “But the world listens to the language of love and welfare only when one possesses strength. This is the nature of the world — it cannot be changed.”

He added that power must be wielded not for domination, but for service. “The world’s welfare is our religion. This is especially a firm duty of Hinduism.”

Speaking on India’s cultural and historical ethos, Bhagwat said the country has always acted as a responsible elder brother in the global family.

India has stood by its neighbours in times of need. Whether it was Sri Lanka, Nepal or the Maldives, we were the first to extend assistance during their crises,” he said.

He further invoked the legacy of sacrifice embedded in India’s civilisation. “From Lord Shri Ram to Bhamashah, we have worshipped those who gave everything for a greater cause,” he said, referring to the historical figure known for generously funding Maharana Pratap’s battle against the Mughals.

Bhagwat’s two-day visit comes at a time when RSS training activities are in full swing across Rajasthan. The Sangh’s emphasis on both cultural rootedness and national strength formed a recurring theme in his address.
