Modi’s recent trip to Ukraine on August 23 marked the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the country. During this visit, Modi met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and reiterated India’s stance on achieving a peaceful resolution through dialogue and diplomacy. Modi emphasised that India has always supported peace and is prepared to contribute to progress in the region.
