President Droupadi Murmu formally opened three new attractions at Amrit Udyan on Saturday, adding fresh landscaped spaces and natural features to the historic gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan. The Plumeria Garden, Banyan Grove and Babbling Brook will remain open to the public until 14 September 2025.
According to a post on the Rashtrapati Bhavan’s official X handle, the Plumeria Garden comprises carefully designed grass mounds and curated plantations, aimed at enhancing the visual character of the estate. The Banyan Grove features reflexology paths, Panchtatva trails and forest-inspired soundscapes, while the Babbling Brook offers cascades, sculptural spouts, stepping stones and a raised reflecting pool to create a tranquil setting for visitors.
