The premium Vande Bharat Express, operated by Indian Railways, faced the same challenges as regular trains in India when a social media post highlighting overcrowding on the train gained widespread attention.
Scores of ticketless passengers had boarded the Vande Bharat Express, which runs between Lucknow Junction and Dehradun.
Many people were seen standing and crowding inside the train.
A recent video uploaded on the X platform captures a scene of the prestigious Vande Bharat Express train at a station, with a crowd of travellers squeezing into a coach. Another video shows the aisle of the train packed to the brim, leaving barely any space to move. Contrary to its premium status, the train appears as crowded as a General Quota train.
This isn't the first instance of criticism aimed at the Vande Bharat Express. Previously, a dissatisfied passenger expressed disappointment about the quality of food served on the train.
