The impacts of winter have begun to manifest as the national capital faced significant challenges due to thick smog early Wednesday morning, despite the AQI being classified as ‘Very Poor’.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the AQI level in Anand Vihar reached 395 in the 'very poor' category, with ITO following at 374 and Jahangirpuri at 384 as of 7:30 am.
As reported by the Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi's AQI was noted at 355 at 7 am today, which was also reflected with a score of 334 yesterday at 4 pm.
