Chhattisgarh Congress released its manifesto for the urban body elections on February 11, outlining 34 promises aimed at improving the state’s urban areas. Some key promises include delivering important certificates to residents' doorsteps, offering free Wi-Fi at public spaces, and installing CCTV cameras near schools and colleges for women's safety.
Other promises include providing free sanitary pads to female students in schools and colleges, regularizing municipal corporation contractual employees, and building fully equipped Anganwadi centers in all wards.
The manifesto also promises to establish youth hubs in every municipal area to create job opportunities and take special actions to support women’s self-help groups.

The manifesto, called ‘Jan Ghoshna Patra’, was unveiled by Pradesh Congress Committee president Deepak Baij, former MLA Stayanarayan Sharma (convenor of the manifesto committee), and other party leaders at the Rajiv Bhavan office.
In addition to the promises mentioned, Baij highlighted that the party would set up CCTV cameras in all city squares and near educational institutions to ensure women's safety. Financial assistance for last rites under the Shraddhanjali Rashi Yojana will be increased from Rs 2,000 to Rs 5,000 for families below the poverty line.
