Hamirpur MP Anurag Singh Thakur has welcomed the Central Government’s decision to form a special team to study the reasons behind the increasing natural disasters in Himachal Pradesh.

 

He said, “The Central Government has special concern for Himachal. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Central Government stands with Himachal in this hour of crisis.” The state has recently been hit by flashfloods, heavy rain and cloudbursts.

Anurag Thakur said, “In the past few years, there has been a huge increase in natural disasters in Himachal, which needs to be studied by experts. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has ordered the setting up of a multi-sectoral Central team to look into the possible reasons for the frequency and intensity of natural disasters in various parts of Himachal."
