A Bihar man has approached a Patna court, accusing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of making a shocking statement that caused him financial loss. The complainant, Mukesh Chaudhary, claims that Rahul Gandhi’s remark about “fighting the Indian state” left him so startled that he dropped a bucket of milk worth Rs 250.
The incident reportedly occurred in Bihar’s Samastipur district. According to Chaudhary, he was carrying five liters of milk priced at Rs 50 per liter when the Congress leader’s comment left him in disbelief. "Rahul Gandhi was threatening the nation's sovereignty," he alleged.
Chaudhary has filed a plea in the Rosera sub-division of the Patna court, seeking action against the Congress leader under various sections of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including Section 152, which deals with sedition.
It remains unclear whether the Patna court has admitted the case, as per news agency PTI.

What did Rahul Gandhi say?
On January 15, during the inauguration of the Congress party's new headquarters in New Delhi, Rahul Gandhi criticised RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat for claiming India’s true independence began with the Ram temple inauguration.
Gandhi stated, "The BJP and RSS have captured every institution, and we are now fighting the BJP, the RSS, and the Indian state itself."
This remark drew sharp criticism from BJP leaders. BJP president and Union Health Minister JP Nadda said, "They know nothing about history and make baseless statements. Their speechwriters prepare anything, and they simply read it."
An FIR has also been filed against Rahul Gandhi in Assam under sections 152 and 197 (1)d of the BNS, alleging his remarks endangered the country’s sovereignty and unity.
Another complainant, Monjit Chetia, accused the Congress leader of attempting to delegitimise the state’s authority and inciting unrest.
