Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party president N Ramchander Rao has claimed that the saffron party is emerging as a strong alternative in the state. Speaking at an event where former MLA Guvvala Balraju joined the party, Rao encouraged various sections of society, including intellectuals, lawyers, farmers, women, and students, to join the BJP and help it form the next government.
According to a party release, Balraju was inspired to join by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance and national development initiatives. Rao expressed confidence that the two-time MLA for Achampet would significantly bolster the BJP's presence across Telangana.

Besides citing the party's growing influence, Rao pointed out to a sharp increase in its vote share from 13.9 per cent in the 2023 assembly elections to over 36 per cent in the recent Lok Sabha elections, where it secured eight seats. He called upon the public to give the BJP an opportunity to deliver good governance and comprehensive development.
The party president also criticised Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, urging him to focus on resolving local issues, such as Hyderabad's traffic problems, rather than making frequent trips to Delhi.
