Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania has nominated Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania and MLAs Sanjay Awasthi, Deep Raj, and Vinod Sultanpuri to attend the “NCSL Legislative Summit 2025”, to be held in Boston, USA, from August 4 to 6.
The summit is being jointly organised by the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) and the National Legislators’ Conference Bharat (NLC Bharat).
This prestigious global conference will bring together legislators, policymakers, and parliamentary experts from around the world on a common platform.
A government spokesperson here said the international summit would offer an opportunity to discuss good governance, policymaking, innovation, and other public interest issues, while also encouraging mutual learning and sharing of best practices.
“It is a matter of pride for Himachal Pradesh, as this participation will reflect the state’s legislative excellence and active engagement on an international stage,” the spokesperson said.
