The Indian Army conducted ‘Exercise Drone Prahar’, displaying the state-of-the-art drone integration. The exercise was held in Agartala on Monday, August 18.
The exercise displayed the new highly-tech drones being integrated into the Indian Armed Forces, as part of modernising.
“Eastern Command showcased cutting-edge drone integration at the tactical level in the Exercise Drone Prahar- II at Agartala on 18 Aug 2025. With “An Eagle on Every Arm” enhancing the ability to gather information and orchestrate violence on the enemy, it secured tactical air superiority, advanced in-house fabrication, and honed operator skills by fusion of these force multipliers to our battle drills”, wrote the Indian Army’s Eastern Command in a post on X.
The exercise fostered innovation exchange, shared operational best practices, and strengthened synergy across formations for unmatched combat readiness, the statement added.
The purpose of this exercise is to validate the effective use of drone technology in realistic combat scenarios, testing the crucial aspects of airspace management and secure communication for smooth drone operations.
