The Government of India has firmly rejected viral social media claims suggesting that Indian forces carried out a drone strike on the Nankana Sahib Gurdwara in Pakistan.
The Press Information Bureau’s Fact Check Unit labeled the video circulating online as “completely fake” and cautioned that such content is being shared with the intent to incite communal tensions within the country.

Located in Pakistan, Nankana Sahib is the revered birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, and holds immense religious significance for the Sikh community.
In addition, the government also dismissed allegations that India's national power grid was disrupted in a cyberattack allegedly orchestrated by Pakistan. Rumors of a temporary shutdown of the Mumbai-Delhi air corridor were also termed “baseless.”
Clarifying the situation, officials stated that the Airports Authority of India has only extended a temporary closure of 25 segments within the Delhi and Mumbai Flight Information Regions due to operational reasons, not due to any hostile activity.
The authorities have urged citizens to rely on verified sources and not to fall for misinformation during the current sensitive period.
