Four people were killed and three injured in a tragic road accident on Monday morning in Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh. The SUV-truck collision, caused by dense fog and low visibility, occurred near Hirapur village on the Sagar-Chhatarpur Road.
The victims were traveling in an SUV on their way to the office when the accident took place. Shahgarh police station in-charge, Sandeep Khare, stated that visibility was significantly reduced due to heavy fog, leading to the collision.
Four people died instantly at the crash site, and the injured were rushed to the Sagar District Hospital. Officials have confirmed that the condition of the injured remains critical. The deceased have been identified, and their families have been informed.

Police suspect that negligence by the truck driver may have contributed to the accident, but they emphasised that dense fog played a significant role. Authorities promptly cleared the damaged vehicles to restore traffic flow on the Sagar-Chhatarpur Road.
