Two people, including a CISF inspector, were killed and several others hurt in a pileup involving multiple vehicles on the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway on Monday.
The accident occurred in Haryana’s Nuh district and was reportedly caused by dense fog, the police said.
A police official in Nuh district said two people died in the incident. One of them was a CISF inspector from Alwar, while the other victim was from Jaipur. The official said poor visibility because of dense fog in the area led to the accident.
He added that the two victims were travelling in separate vehicles at the time of the pileup.
Police said several vehicles were involved in the accident, including cars, a bus, and a truck.
