After the Supreme Court refused to examine a plea filed by Bharat Rashtra Samithi working president KT Rama Rao against the order that refused to quash an FIR against him in the Formula E race case, KTR is garnering limelight.
He was grilled by the Enforcement Directorate for 7 hours after the verdict.
Reports suggest that after the interrogation, KTR reiterated his commitment to cooperate with investigative agencies but at the same time invited Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for a live debate and lie detector test on the Formula-E race case and the Vote for Note case.
“If Revanth Reddy believes he is innocent, let him face the public and judiciary with me,” he said.

Expressing his respect for the Constitution and judiciary, the former Minister said he had immense faith in the judiciary. “I have provided comprehensive answers to the ED and Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) stating that there was no corruption as all transactions are fully transparent.”
KTR clarified that the funds were transferred directly from the State government to the Formula-E organisers without any middlemen or financial misappropriation.
During the interrogation, KTR submitted a report prepared by Nielsen on the Formula-E race, which highlighted the $82 million economic benefit to Telangana.
It has been learnt that a copy of the Telangana Electric Vehicle Policy — 2020, showcasing the State’s grand vision of promoting EV manufacturing and establishing the Telangana Mobility Valley was also submitted.
