Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday inaugurated the three-day Mega Sabji Expo-2025 in Karnal, emphasizing its role in equipping farmers with advanced agricultural knowledge and modern technologies.
The event aims to help farmers increase their income by improving productivity and efficiency throughout the crop cycle.
Addressing the gathering, CM Saini stated, "The Mega Sabji Expo-2025 provides a valuable platform for farmers to discover new farming techniques and technologies. These advancements will significantly contribute to enhancing their income and improving agricultural sustainability."
In a significant move to further support the agricultural sector, the Chief Minister announced the establishment of three new Centres of Excellence in Haryana. These centres will focus on research, innovation, and technology-driven farming practices to boost agricultural productivity.
"We are committed to advancing agricultural development in Haryana. The government has decided to open three new Centres of Excellence to help farmers access the latest innovations in farming," CM Saini said.
As part of the state’s digital transformation initiatives, CM Saini also introduced an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered chatbot, ‘Sarathi’, for the Chief Secretary’s office website (http://csharyana.gov.in).

Developed by the Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (HARTRON), the chatbot is designed to improve citizen engagement by providing easy access to important government directives, notifications, and circulars.
According to an official release, ‘Sarathi’ is capable of processing a vast database of over 17,820 official documents, spanning 73,622 scanned PDF pages. It offers precise information on government policies, acts, circulars, and orders, ensuring transparency and easy accessibility for users.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the chatbot will help streamline governance by providing verified responses exclusively from official documents. "By ensuring accuracy and reliability, ‘Sarathi’ will serve as a key tool for government transparency. It also provides direct links to original documents, allowing users to cross-check information," the release stated.
With these initiatives, the Haryana government continues to drive agricultural innovation and digital governance, reinforcing its commitment to farmers' welfare and public service efficiency.
